Back to School
That's right, it's time to go back to school for the both of us. Jennifer started her last semester of nursing school today. As for me, I begin next Tuesday the 17th. However I am really going back to school. All the way back to the 3rd grade. That's right! For the next 7-weeks I will be completing my practicum experience and credits at Crystal Spring Elementary School. After over a year of preparation through UVa, it is time for me to be thrown to the wolves. Just kidding! I am really excited about the whole process. I have been waiting on this for quite some time now. As for work I will be taking a temporary leave of absence until early March. After my practicum is complete, I will be able to apply for my state license. This will take some time, so my plan is to return to work in March with the hope of getting a teaching job next fall. Wish us both luck as we both near major changes in our careers.Jason

Good Luck and Congrats to you both.
Jason I'm jealous, it's not going to be the same at work without you. We're going to miss all the animal noises and Napoleon Dynamite jokes and references while we work. Although I'm sure you'll come back with plenty of stories.

So yeah, I feel totally duped. Maybe I wouldn't have applied for the Spec position if I knew you were just gonna up and leave! Not fair.
I think you may be teaching my nephew Patrick. I know he goes to Crystal Spring I just am not sure what grade. I'll investigate.
Anyhoo! Congratulations! I'm so excited for you and think the change will do you good.
