A Registered Nurse

We found out this morning that Jennifer passed her state boards and now holds her RN license. This marks the end of a long chapter for the both of us, but especially for Jennifer. She has faced multiple challenges, working so incredibly hard over the past 2-3 years. This morning's news could not have been given to a more deserving person. It is amazing to see someone, as dedicated as Jennifer, accomplish their goal. This and many other reasons make me proud to say that Jennifer is both my wife and best friend. I love you!

I'm predicting..."The worst movie of the year"

At least they could have come up with a better name. Really...Snakes on a Plane. Obviously, they didn't spend much time brainstorming. Actually, rumor has it that they tried to change the name to Pacific Air Flight 121, but Samuel L. Jackson insisted it not change. Who knows, it may be a sellout. I typically like unpopular movies and dislike the popular ones. Take a listen below. Sounds pretty dumb to me.

It's about time...

Finally, after years of debate, the demolition of Victory Stadium began this morning. Follow the link and continue to click refresh to see an up-to-date, live image from roanoke.com's video camera. History in the making...Roanoke is actually following through with something. Hope you are enjoying it as much as I am!

Taking a break to have a little fun!

This past Wednesday, Jennifer and I went over to the Normans for a cookout. Matt, who is sitting in the background, decided to bring his Guitar Hero game. As you can see, we enjoyed it. Maybe a little too much for men who are almost 30 years old. Anyway enjoy the video that Phil produced.

"You haven't been updating your blog!"

Yes, I am aware of this matter. We've both been really busy. Since summer is almost here, we have been out and about a lot recently. A collective effort of yard work, softball games, new jobs, giving haircuts to dogs, and roofing sheds has consumed much of our time over the past couple of weeks. Jennifer loves her new job, which she may blog about soon. Anyway, I must go for now. Keep checking and I will update when I have time. Take care and God bless!
