Roughly speaking...Day 9 of Pool Construction

Unfortunately we lost four days due to a damaged skimmer that had to be reordered, but now it has been fixed and the final days are in sight.

Landscaping begins by yours truly...
I worked all weekend on the front area of the pool, preparing the soil and planting the grass. In addition, I planted 5 of our 7 Green Giant Arborvitae trees.

The concrete deck has been poured.
Now all that is left is a little more work on the inside floor, installation of the liner, and electrical wiring.

Day 5 of Pool Construction

Today they continued to backfill and remove excess dirt from the yard. In addition, they completed more plumbing and line work. I didn't post a photo, because visually there is not much more to see at this point. I will post one after the work tomorrow is completed. Have a great weekend!

Taking the Plunge

For those of you who do not already know, we are putting in a pool. We have contemplated the matter for over three years and finally decided to go through with it a couple of weeks ago. Last Thursday they began digging and today they began the construction. It is so exciting to watch.

Day 1: Excavation

Day 2 Morning: Digging the Deep End

Day 2 Afternoon: Wall Construction
